Tallow Source
Our tallow begins as beef fat from a local Idaho beef rancher, and trusted source — grass raised and grain finished.
The rendering is slow and intentional. The first render transforms the fat into tallow. Each render after that is a refining process — carefully done to remove impurities and naturally occurring odor. I refine until there is no beef scent and the tallow is clean and smooth.
Small batch matters because I can control every step.
Oils & Additions
I use 100% natural coconut oil and jojoba oil. When flavoring or infusing products like lip balm, I infuse oils myself. Nothing artificial. Nothing pre-fragranced.
Beeswax Standards
When beeswax is used, I am intentional about sourcing. I avoid wax from hives treated with synthetic pesticides or miticides. I want to know exactly what is in every ingredient — and how it will react when used as a skincare product.
If I can’t confidently name and explain an ingredient, I won’t use it.
